Gynecomastia Explained

Gynecomastia is not a topic that is widely discussed among men. Rightly so, being that those who suffer from excessive chest fat are generally embarrassed about it and live in fear of being ridiculed because of it. That is why men try various methods of gynecomastia treatment but without any real understanding of the condition.

There are two kinds of gynecomastia. True gynecomastia and pseudo gynecomastia. With the true gynecomastia type, there is an excessive build up of glandular tissue and fat tissue in the male breast. Unfortunately with this type of gynecomastia, surgery is normally the only option because there is no natural way to get rid of glandular tissue. In some rare cases, this type can be brought about by side effects of taking certain medications, but it is best to consult your doctor to confirm if that is the case.

With the pseudo gynecomastia type, there is an excessive build up of fat in the chest and a normal amount of glandular tissue. What this means is that there are ways that you can treat gynecomastia naturally without resorting to surgery. Because you are trying to get rid of fat, like with any exercise regime it takes some work but more importantly it takes time and patience because the results are slow.

There are programs that specifically show you what to do through a step by step plan, and some even provide pills to help speed up the fat burning process. Do some research and start doing something about your gynecomastia.
